Shona Hagan is a lively and vivacious performer and teacher of Egyptian style bellydance,based in Poole, Dorset. Before moving to the UK just over 3 years ago, Shona had a successful career as a bellydance artist and teacher in Spain. She recently won an award at the International Bellydance Congress Isis Awards for proffesional soloits 2009. Shona is currently organising and promoting Miss Bellydance UK , a competion for up and coming solo dancers, as she belives that competitions such as these are a good stepping stone for young soloists to become known on the UK bellydance scene. Simply Shimmies ( open level) Learn lots of different shimmies and overlays and bring more kick to your exisiting ones. The Ledgendary Madam Fifi Abdu’s biggest tip to dancers when teaching in the UK , was to improve our shimmies, so here is your chance.Level
