Stevie is a performing professional with more then 15 years of dance experience. Residing in Los Angeles where she works as a dancer, actress and educator, Stevie is at the heart of the American dance scene. Using a strong foundation in classical styles Stevie Cabaret mergers dances from the Arab traditions and western jazz techniques to create a refined authentic bellydance. Performing as a solo artist and ensemble members Stevie Cabaret has performed with "Stilt World", Focus Fish's “Flying Circus", Jillina and the Sahalal Dancers and the Bellydance Superstars. A passionate and inclusive performer she utilizes the music and the dance to communicate her heart to the world. Stevie is currently on tour with the Bellydance Superstars.

This is a class designed to take the student to the next level in their dance education with tools and tips to accepts the fundamental of dance. Dancer will learn ballet/modern techniques they can incorporate their training to improve precision, style, and grace. Class begins with an extensive jazz warm up session that challenges the body to stretch, and strengthen muscles. Some ballet conditioning will be introduced and discussed. This class I will be breaking down the machinates of turning. Dancers will be given several combo to learn that focuses on proper execution of this advance movement. There will be an emphasis on correct body poster and positioning to enhance access to the core muscles. I will also be focusing on the details of the bellydance such as hands, arms, and feet to enhance the dancers quality. Class will be quick pace throughout the drilling and choreography sections to work the dancer skills at picking up choreography and then performing. This class is a “must” for the dancers who has the desire to work as a professional.
