What

Anatomy and Elemental Movement:

This workshop is an excellent jumping-off point for dancers curious about tribal fusion technique or keen to focus on the fundamentals; it is suitable for beginners and more practiced dancers.

The flavour that most distinguishes tribal fusion is the emphasis on isolation and control. In this workshop, building mental connections to tricky muscles will start with stretching and conditioning accompanied by detailed explanations to pinpoint and strengthen the sources of movement. Then, we’ll put the pieces together, working from strong locks to smooth, slow control in big moves. If you have a yoga mat, bring it along with a bottle of water, and be ready to work it!
