Michelle Pender

Michelle Pender is a prominent teacher and performer with 8 year's experience. She travels extensively to Egypt and has attended classes with some of the world's leading teachers. She is the Artistic Director and founder of Caravanserai Drum and Dance Collective, and teaches regular classes and workshops nationwide.

Her style is predominantly folk and Shaabi and she works in TV, theatre and schools.

An exploratin of trance dance and related rythms.This workshop is aimed at both drummers and dancers wishing to expand their repertoire.Both groups will interchange within the workshop with a view to taking away a deeper understanding of this mysterious rhythm.Bring a drum or a frame drum if you have one.
